The International Disc Jockey Trade Association
(IDJTA) is forming to be the largest organization in
the world dedicated to representing the interests of
professional DJs. As an IDJTA member, you are part
of a membership of thousands of DJs with similar
goals and interests. The IDJTA can negotiate
agreements and administer contracts, procure
valuable benefits and achieve legislative goals. No
single DJ has that power.
The IDJTA has brought together industry

Texas, and Florida, in addition to a network of more
than 25 DJ Crews and Coalitions in small and large
cities throughout the world, the IDJTA is everywhere

Here are just a few of the benefits and services
you are entitled to as an IDJTA member:
Contracts/collective bargaining. The IDJTA
will work to negotiate wages and working conditions
in order to maintain minimum standards for its
members involved in club appearances, artist
support, radio, mobile show, recording, and
traveling productions. The IDJTA also can provide a
legally binding contract for any type of engagement,
and when properly executed and filed with the local
union, they allow the local officer to help collect
payments in the case of a default.
Insurance Programs You Can Rely On. The IDJTA
is here to protect you and your valuable instruments
by offering a number of low-cost options.
Pension and Health. The IDJTA is working
toward providing assistance with savings and
retirement planning. In the future, as membership
numbers grow, the IDJTA intends to develop pension
